A high speed camera offers superior image quality for fast imaging and machine vision applications. 1024 greylevels and up to 80 frames per second via easyly set-up Gigabit Ethernet network provide insight to assembly and production processes at elevated speeds.

A large on-board FPGA allows for realtime filtering of up to 500 full frames. Filtered image data volume is usually way below 100 MB/s. Thus GigE Vision based inspection and motion analysis at 500 fps becomes an easy task.

Integrated in the MC1324 sensor-board is an extra large FPGA array that is programmable with the Mikrotron FPGA Sobel Filter. It reduces the image’s data amout to what is really essential: object edges, object data, as well as object coordinates.


The FPGA Sobel Filter increases frame rate of the MC1324 by a multiple: Object and motion information speeds up to 500 frames per second at full 1280 x 1024 resolution via GigE interface!
